Yurts are fabulously versatile. Ideal for weekend getaways, children’s playhouses, guest accommodation, yoga or meditation retreats, weddings, parties and so much more!

If you’re not sure about the size of yurt you want, how many people will fit into it, or any other question for that matter – just get in touch!
We NEVER mislead our customers – if our yurts won’t satisfy what you have in mind we’ll suggest other hire companies who might be able to help you.

Here at the Dorset Yurt Company we pride ourselves on the authentic nature of the furniture and materials with which we decorate our Yurts. Our ‘Extras’ packages offer a range of options for you to choose from.

Yurt Prices

Unfurnished Yurt Hire
Unfurnished yurt hire includes the delivery*, assembly and disassembly of the yurt at your desired location for whatever period you choose to hire for. If the hire period you want isn’t listed below please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Once you’ve chosen the hire period you want and of course where you’d like to stay, your yurt is assembled at your location as a blank canvas – how you furnish it is up to you! Feel free to furnish it with your own possessions or go the whole hog and choose from our extensive range of options.

We have a wide variety of furniture and furnishings to suit almost any occasion and have taken special care to source as much as possible from authentic dealers.

Experience tells us that no one hire is like another - a yurt is such a versatile and mobile space that people use them for all manner of occasions. Woodburner and Kettle Package
Add a warming glow to your yurt by choosing the woodburner option. Hire includes a large kettle and all the wood you'll need for your hire period!

Simple Furniture and Furnishings Package
Ideal for parties and get-together’s the ‘Simple’ hire option offers comfort, style and an authentic taste of the traditional yurt.

Luxury Wedding Furniture and Furnishings Package
Opting for the ‘Luxury’ package will transform your stay into a once in a lifetime experience - opulence really doesn’t come much finer than this!
Ideal for a romantic wedding night or special anniversary, a stylish double bed with crisp linen and snug eiderdowns awaits you. Of course you can expect everything you’d find in the ‘Simple’ hire but with a wonderful choice of luxury extras.

Children’s parties
We recommend that for children’s parties the ‘Unfurnished’ hire option is taken, allowing parents to theme the interior to their own requirements.
We can offer a selection of party foods and can even supply a story-teller to enthral and enchant!

'Clay Time'
We can offer ‘Clay time!’ parties for children. Our local ceramicist will come to your venue and offer a clay modelling workshop! Contact us for booking details.

'Blackout Lining'
Complete blackout lining available to transform your yurt into a professional space – ideal for presentations, Home Cinema, Children’s storytelling or any other event that requires complete darkness.

'Event Management and Production'
Why not let us take some of the strain out of planning your event? We have extensive experience in planning, setting up and running a range of small and large professional events. For your information

Safety in the yurt
All hires come with a yurt safety pack .
The yurt canvas is specially designed to be fire resistant / flame retardant; however we also provide a small fire extinguisher for added peace of mind.

*Delivery
Mileage travelled will be charged at a flat rate of 50 pence per mile.
